1969 427 oil priming
I am trying to prime my 427 solid lifters only getting oil from a few in the back do I have to rotate 90 degrees at a time as I have read to get the rest to start oiling?

I usually rotate as I prime. I don't know if it's required or not.

You will need to rotate in order to get oil up to the top out of all rockers.

You also need to use either and old-cut down distributor, or a pre-oil tool so that the oil passages connect side to side.

Sir did you pump up the lifters in a can of oil before installing them on the cam? I always have done this with either solid or hydralic lifters to help in the priming.

No I did not but I can tell you I purchased a oil prime tool it was a problem the oil channel is too big it lost oil pressure I made one out of a old distributor now I had to cover the lifters oil is flying out
