Canadian docs only prove that the car DID exist. Years ago, apparently Can. paperwork included a page that listed other cars also. Unfortunately atleast a few cars “reappeared” after years being lost because of Canadian docs.

Exactlly! That page was the GM microfiche, the first of them even had the key codes on them, GM started blotting out the key codes, then completely eliminated that page later in future vintage vehicle requests. Early reports were just hand typed on a piece of paper with options & codes then later ones were on a GM letter head and then later yet were embossed with a corporate stamp seal. Now they don’t say GM, just Vintage Vehicle Services.
