Default 1967 Chevelle SS wheels

Having a little trouble identifying the correct code and size wheels needed for a '67 Chevelle SS396. I'm told it needs 15x7s and code DA and DG keep popping up but they seem to be 14x6s. I already have 3 restored '69 YH 15s so may just use those and find another.

No 7" wide 14" wheel was available in 1967. They did not come until 1969.
The correct code for a 1967 Chevelle with rally wheels were "DA" 14X5 on non SS cars and "DG" 14X6 on the SS cars. If it had stock steel wheels they were still only 14X6 on the SS cars.
ThanX

Mike still has his original hubcaps in a box that were taken off at Duarte's when they put on mag wheels right off the truck.

Could the stock steel wheels come on a disc brake car?

Thanks guys! I'm new to the 67 chevelle and kept getting conflicting info. about the size wheels. Just bought a matching numbers L78 and the seller kept saying it needed 15x7 rallys to be correct. They were installing 4 wheel disc brakes so I stopped that. I think the guy told me it was a power drum brake car and all 67 SS396 cars had rallys. I will have to dig a little deeper...

Non-power drum brakes were std. on all '67 Chevelle SS 396, with power drum optional, both using 14x6 std wheels with A3 6 code or a variant of that code.

Optional disc brake SS 396 cars, non-SS ordered with PW7 white stripe F-70 and PW8 red stripe F-70, came std. with 14x6 DG code "Disc Brake" wheels. Disc Brake, or Rally Wheels as they became known as, were not available as a separate option in '67, only with disc brakes.
