Default Photos from MCACN 2014

I spend most of the day yesterday at the show and would like to thank Bob and his crew for the great show they put on each year. The cars were amazing and the place was packed all day. I had a great time and took a few pictures as well. I was trying out a new camera so hopefully they turn out ok on here. My only critique is that some of the cars were parked practically door handle to door handle making them kind of hard to view much less shoot pictures of them. The majority of the crowd was checking out the muscle car displays and the large area housing the modified cars was virtually empty. Having a few less modified cars would allow the muscle cars to be more spread out along with the crowds enjoying them. Here are a few of the better photos I took.

L89 Showcase:

Chris Short's 69 El Camino

Samantha Styles' 69 Chevelle SS conv. looking good with it's new stance.

J. Jones' 68 Camaro RS/SS with an M22

R. Adkins' 69 Chevelle SS post sedan. This car was featured in numerous magazines back in the early 90's.

This 69 Camaro RS/SS and the 69 Chevelle SS conv. were numbers matching cars out of a private collection.

The only known L89 70 Chevelle SS

Mark Hasset's 69 Chevelle SS. This one was featured in Muscle Car Review a few years ago.

The Solid Lifter Showroom:

R. Thyer's 68 Nova COPO #28 known as the "Rats Nest" just finished up by the Supercar Workshop.

M. Angelo's 69 Camaro Double COPO sold new at Ed Stinn in Cleveland OH.

S. Lecates' 69 Camaro SS equipped with JL8 brakes.

R. Hurst's 69 Chevelle COPO sold new at Brewers in Campton KY. This is a numbers matching car and was featured in the book Muscle Cars several years ago.

D. Orland's 70 Nova SS.

How about some Hemis!

This is Kevin Suydam's former 71 Cuda conv. that is a numbers matching 4 speed car.

Sinister looking Black 70 Cuda with dog dishes.

Mike Mancini's freshly restored Vitamin C 70 Cuda.

Bruce Bartie's unrestored 70 Cuda.

David Laur's unrestored 70 Superbird.

Rick Mahoney's 65 Belvedere A990 which is 1 of 1 Medium Blue Metallic 65 A990 Plymouths.

R. Dezsi's 69 Super Bee which was a numbers matching 4 speed car.

T. Konz's 70 Challenger RT/SE which was a numbers matching Torqueflite car.

Rico Petrini's 64 Belvedere which I believe is Dark Blue Metallic. I know there were a few non lightweight Hemi cars built in 1964 so this must be one of them. I didn't get a chance to talk to the owner or look at the fender tag.

Premier Unveilings:

Greg San Marco's 1 of 1 Adriatic Blue 72 Trans Am that sports a 4 speed and air.

Curt Richards' Prototype 1 of 2 69 Trans Am that was built during the first week of November 1968 and restored by Supercar Specialties.

This 69 Firebird RAIV conv. is from The Brothers Collection and was restored by Level One Restorations. I believe this is Goldenrod Yellow which looks like Pontiac's equivalent of Chevrolet's Daytona Yellow. It also has a green top and interior.

This 70 Buick GS Stage 1 conv. is also from The Brothers Collection and was restored by Level One Restorations. It is a 4 speed car with air.

GTO's:

Samantha Styles 70 Judge RAIV conv. which was once a part of Milt Robson's collection.

J. Bourcier's 69 Judge RAIV.

S. Shaffer's 70 Judge RAIV which was a numbers matching 4 speed car.

S. Brody's 64 GTO conv. with tri-power and a 4 speed.

Class of 1969:

W. Horodryk's 69 Road Runner A12 that I believe is Seafoam Turquoise Metallic. It's the only A12 car I've ever seen this color.

D. Payne's 69 Camaro Yenko SC. It is a numbers matching 4 speed car. I don't know which dealership it was sold from.

R. Wood's 69 Camaro COPO sold new at Dale in Waukesha WI with a yellow hounds tooth interior.

J. Evans' 69 Trans Am RAIII with dog dishes.

D. Armstrongs' 69 Firebird conv. RAIII is an automatic car with air. It was featured in the November 2011 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines.

Vintage Certification contenders:

Phil Woj's 69 Chevelle COPO was sold new at Lyle Chevrolet and is documented with it's original POP. It is a 38K mile car with it's original engine and rear end. It is a bench seat car with a TH400.

D. Beem's 19K mile Vitamin C 70 Hemi Cuda.

R. Heibbreder's 71 Cuda 440+6 which was Tawny Gold with a Gold Leaf top.

J. Helms' 66 Chevelle SS L78 with a M21 and 3.07 gears. It has 81K miles and I believe the original drivetrain.

J. Benthin's 66 Chevelle SS L78. I think this car was featured in Muscle Car Review in the mid 80's.

Some Corvettes:

Donald Ghareeb's 69 L88.

R. Amontea's 65.

Vic D'Agostino's 57 Fuelie. I'm not sure which horsepower version this one was.

This 57 Fuelie is 1 of 43 with RPO579E which was the Air Box option. I believe this was a heavy duty brake car as well.

D. Johnson's 64 Fuelie.

L. Sachs' 66 425 horse car.

Here's a 67 435 horse roadster with a vinyl hardtop.
