391 is for manual steering & 390 is for power. Book says all with p/s. Physical difference, unknown. I've heard more plies for power. I'm going to check the splines this morning....Joe

13/16 shaft size on P/S boxes and 3/4 on Manual I believe. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Also Pretty sure the originals had 4 plys and OTC versions had 7 plys

Also. P/S has a flat spot which the manual box doesn't have....Joe
