Default 1967 Chevelle SS... what do you think?

A friend of mine is considering this car...

any help would be great! good v. bad? original v. not?

I know the block is not original...

isn't $55,000+ strong money for this car?

I thought 55K was a little high also, but
considering the car looks 99% & is probably 85%
(non original motor & some misc detailing), it may be worth it.

It is definatly beautiful & would be a hit anywhere it went. good luck.

I WOULDNT PAY IT. ITS NICE BUT I BELIEVE ITS AN AUTOMATIC CAR THATS BEEN CONVERTED TO A 4 SPEED. PLUS WHERES THE FACTORY GAUGES LIKE HE CLAIMS IN THE DESCRIPTION?

Well... I have to agree and disagree on some stuff.. VERY Sharp looking car... but who knows what she looks like in person.. photos can be so deceiving... But given it looks as good in person and no major surprises.. I will say that even with a non-matching number engine... she is worth in the hood of $50K to $54K.... REAL SS, 4 speed, Nice color combo, CONVERT., and fairly clean, not much in the needing to be corrected.. all details... it's always about the details

It's close by me....if you need an inspection just holler. I'm no expert on 67 Chevelles but I can tell you if its a POS or not.

Is it my imagination, or is the passenger side of the car pretty "wavey"? (notice most of the well-lit side shots are of the drivers side of the car?)

(As long as I'm at it, someone really needs to adjust that pass. side headlight trim where it meets up with the forward hood trim.)

I'd still drive it.

I really value your efforts. I explained the tranny issue with my friend and we both agreed that it was too much coin for the car.

Many thanks!
