A show called Car Czar, its about finding and restoring a 69 RS/Z/28...seems very cool so far.

I saw that last week when they did an Amphicar. I think they do a different car each week. One of the better car restoration shows out there IMO. I think the owner of the shop is one of the high rollers from BJ auction a few years back.

Isn't that the Ferrari guy from Barrett? I would have liked to get a look at that car to see if it originally had stripes. I was thinking it might have been a dusk blue car with no stripes.

Show was pretty good but I saw stuff I thought was questionable.

This 'Czar' guy makes no sense to me. The spec resto of a Amphicar. Looked like they did a nice job but it sure seemed with the time and $$$ spend on the resto that they were upside down at current Amphicar values.

Why do a car on spec when there are plenty of guys willing to pay a lot of $$$ to get a car restored??

Too many people think that the DZ block is something special only to the Z/28. Just a suffix code.

Anybody see them trying to hook up the battery? It was only on for a couple of seconds but I think it was in backwards with the posts next to the header panel.
