Default Luggage Rack ID??

A friend asked me to sell this rack for him. He said he removed it from a 1973 Corvette but I thought the C3 racks has the black plastic tips on the end. Is this a C3 rack or something else?

Thanks!

----Sorry for taking so long to notice this, but your luggage rack is an aftermarket one manufactured by Amco. The hinges allow it to tilt up when luggage is strapped to it so you can access the gas cap. I installed one on my 66 Corvette. If it fits a series 3 Corvette you are probably correct. But it was never an option for any car out of the factory!...…..Bill S

Yup -- not a "factory" Corvette rack. Chevy said the Corvette racks were to store the T-Tops so as to leave the interior space open for luggage (not very much luggage at that) ... TAZ

----Probably worth something but guys are a little bit hesitant to drill holes in the deck anymore. Somebody doing a resto on a Vette with the holes already there might like it. Those holes are hard to make go away completely. Signs of them often come back to haunt a nice paint job, and the rack is useful!.....Bill S
