Charley, I myself have never seen the car. Just been told by friends. Will try to get some more info on it. I believe the $$$$ were about the same as the Hemi he just bought, but in Canadian funds????

I've only been in his '69 Superbee. I was told he bought the Camaro for his wife.

I think these TA series cars are the most over priced cars in the market today. I myself don't see a nice, normal '69 Z, (not an RS or crossram or rear disc cars) being more then the 50K range of car? I think most are 20-35K overpriced.

Then you add the fact there are more '69 Z28's today then GM made in '69, well..... But the '69 are pretty cars.

I just don't see the "awe" of any of the TA cars myself. Yes they handle a bit better. But who's out there on the streets going around corners doubling the posted speed limits in the 100 point TA cars???? And straight line, they can't usually run with some of the normal SB cars like 340 Duster, L79 Chevy II etc.

But people keep driving the pricing up and I think these TA cars are in for a "correction" in the not too distant future....
It all comes down to personal preference.

I prefer the TA cars myself.

I would rather own a '70 Challenger T/A than a '70 LS6 Chevelle.

I see this car is again going to back auction. What happened? The buyer didn't like it?

I guess I'm one of the rare few. With a 454 chevelle, SCJ mustang, 70 RA III Formy, and a 69 RS Z/28. I like them all but hands down the Z is the most fun to drive. It doesn't set the track on fire (13's) but it squirts around well enough to make it fun, handles nicely, and is a blast on the twisty mountain roads around here. Wife drives it daily. Although I've been a bit hesitant of that lately with the prices they have been grabbing. I've also always liked the Z for it's engine package. Couldn't get that engine in anything else so even though they made quite a few, it's still unique in that respect. I'd own any number of Mopars too if the right one came along.
