69 Cortez Silver Z
Interesting auction. What do you guys think of the engine pad and VIN stamp? Also, whenever I see a trim tag photo this blurry I have to assume there's something the seller doesn't want to show.

Can't tell squat from the trim tag.
Bogus engine stamp. Not even close.

Where does one start on this car? The tag shows it being an 06A build, the engine is a May restamp, no trans stamp, no diff pics (not that you can see much under there) and then there's a list of issues one can spot from a mile away including the missing cowl seal, fender bolts to firewall, hoses, clips, wiring, shroud screws missing, lower rocker spears, no guards, and man o man, just look at those wide assed stripes on the back of it. And that claim of the deluxe interior in the pitch.
This car is an absolute mess. It looks to have had a coil bolted to the firewall once upon a time as well. Old bracket car perhaps? In either case, it looks to have lived a real tough life, to begin with.

That engine stamping is not original. That partial VIN was also restamped.
Agreed car is sort of a mess
