Default 1969 Camaro Curved neck rad

Can anyone help me out with any data or info on if 4 core curved neck rads were installed on 1969 Camaro L78 with 4:10 BV diff? UY tag code?
Much appreciated SYC members!

More informed people than me on this site but I believe the curve neck radiator was installed on 69 Camaro big blocks with air conditioning and 427 COPO cars only. BV is the right code for a 4.10 post in 69 unless COPO, they received a BE code rear.

1969 Camaro Curved Neck Radiator application was used on 396 and 427 cars with the
following criteria:
* AC
* 396/375 HP cars with 4.10 rears starting in late March early April ( I know of a couple 4.10 early March cars that came with the ZD 3 core rad)
* 427 L72 and ZL1 cars
I welcome any comments

Thumbs up

Thank you gentlemen, the reason I ask is I know of a survivor L78 with original BV and it had the 4 core curved neck. March build date.
I have a survivor Nov 68 born with drive train and it was missing the rad. I want to replace it but want to replace with the correct unit.
Might have been due to better cooling requirements with the 4:10??

The earliest documented with factory paper 4 core curved neck I have seen on a L78 was late april I believe it was 04C -
Dave Beems old 05A RS/SS L78 Convertible with 3.73's has a curved neck which is documented by the factory paper (now owned by Evan M.)

IIRC there was a curved neck or two installed in some L78s earlier in production - most likely due to shortage of ZD's.

Thanks very much SYC members. A lot of great information and more or less what I was expecting with regards to the curve neck rad.

@ Fred, my apologies, the Canadian documented Black X66 L78 build date on trim tag is 04C. Engine build date is T0403JH.

The Nov 68 L78 Olympic Gold (pre X code) build date 11D and the engine build date T1114JH.
I will give you a call today, if thats OK.

Thanks again
