Default 1967 Camaro Dig

Many years ago on here I shared the story of a Vietnam Vet living down the street from me.It was titled "67 CAMARO DIG" & he bought his Blue/Blue 1967 Camaro with a 327cid & 4spd Saginaw brand new and was getting ready to un-earth it from his garage back then.It was absolutely buried by the back wall of his garage.I posted photos of what I saw on here that day through Photobucket, but I can't find any of them,or even that topic at all today.
Is it archived?
So I just heard from him this week,as he's needing some help acquiring parts.Seems he's been slowly getting it road ready.
He want's to know who sells the best resemblance of his original 1967 Harrison Small block Radiator.
He still has it,but it needs work,so is considering a good reproduction of his original today..Or should he pay someone to sweat his old tanks off and put em on a newer core?

Rick's (Eklers), has a US Radiators that they claim has embossed tanks to appear original. 3 row 21", which should be what he has. It's over $400. They have a 4 row but that is an additional $100. If you guys know of a, reasonably, local source to have his re-cored, it may be less costly and retain his original tanks/mounts. His perception of "reasonably close" may be different than mine...

Photobucket has gone thru so many changes in the last 3-4 years, it's a miracle any pics show up anymore. I am still on their "loyal patron classic" rate of $35/yr. MANY people bailed several years ago when they went to fee only and they finally woke up and let the people you had accounts keep a lower rate.

Do old pics like those in Rick's '05 thread still work for those w/ Loyal Accounts?
I'm glad Photophucket's greed a few years back didn't work out as emblazoning their logo across photos entrusted by "free" account holders to buck up was outright extortion...cyber bastards.

No, apparently Rick doesn't have an active account anymore, so they aren't going to host the pics.
He would have to find them on his computer and attach them from there.

Buying a replacement radiator makes more sense if you have nothing to start with but when you have a L30/M20 that you bought new, why not save and fix the original Harrison? That is my suggestion.

Is there a recommended center core on todays market that you can recommend he can have his original tanks put on to?
Right now the one Mitch pointed out looks to be the best answer all around.
He's doing an amateur restoration in his garage, and just wants to get the car roadworthy for his wife & him to enjoy one more time before they die.He & his wife are approaching 80 years old and very, very tired. They don't like to socialize,so the car won't be judged by him,or go to car cruises at all.

Hey Rick - is A-Len still around in Downers Grove? Would think they would be able to take care of things for them relatively quickly and inexpensively if they are..? Back in the day they were the go-to place I think....
