Default L78 Carb linkage

Hi All, When I went to hook up my original carb linkage, I realized I dont know what hole the rod goes in on the carb. Can anyone show me a picture of how it goes?

Also, the steal vacuum line that goes from behind the carb towards my vacuum brake booster seems to be in the way of my carb linkage. Not sure if the carb linkage is supposed to go above or below the steel tube. Maybe my vaccum tube has been bent. Could anyone show me how this should look?

Like always, i appreciate everyone's help.
