All those years ago we couldn't figure out why a buddy's "stock" 68 400-4spd Firebird could Beat Down all our hot rods ??

One of my pet peeves. Of course, the older I get, seems like the more I have.

Sadly, that is what most of the first gen subframes look like... even on a lot of the "restored" cars.

I have never understood why you wouldn't address that if you already have the frame off and you are doing all the other work.

Frame metal is much easier to work with than sheet metal, and way easier to weld. On this car, I don't know for a fact that they had the frame off; but the ad says "completely restored example"... I would have to disagree.

Still a car I would love to own. But then, I want one of almost everything.

Just my two cents.

We had that same color combination in our '68 Pontiac. Unfortunately, it was on a Bonneville. But I still loved the color.
