Default 2016 Challenger - 180mph

Local to me. 180mph in a 70mph zone. Only $180 fine too!

I can see that happening. I was over 160 in a Hell Cat and felt like 100. Guy is lucky the fine ceilings at $180 dollars and that stretch of road where he got busted is a great place to punch it.

Usually.

People are definitely driving faster now. Just today I saw a BMW fly by the shop today going at least 110 to 120 in a 50 mph zone. It was going so fast, a wheel flair flew off as he flew by. Idiot. It was a set of traffic signals. Thankfully they stayed green for him

I will have to say normally I drive an econobox to work, substantial wind noise with this not so fine auto. So one day last week I drive my pickup as I am dropping off a transmission. Just cruising along on a back road going to work, pop over a hill and there sets a sheriff watching traffic. I look down and I am doing well over 70 in a 55. I slow down, wave as I go past, nothing happened, he just sat there. Normally that would have been a ticket, esp as I am out of county. Weird times

A Hwy patrol cop was able to pull over 3 911's at the same time last week, all doing their best LeMans impression. All doing over 120 on the Long Island Expressway (LIE) which is normally a complete parking lot most hrs of the day. The cops are giving a lot of "warnings" due to no touch etc.
