Have you tried to contact anyone in your local area that does dry ice blasting? You're doing a single car? Might be a lot cheaper to have them come to your location and blast what you want. Even a couple of grand is a lot cheaper than buying one.

The picture in the eBay ad - thats the same setup they were using on that This Old House episode. The company goes from place to place removing mold, slightly charred wood and soot. The last two - they actually remove the smell through the process.

Yes Lee. Have called about 5 companies and all of them do heavy commercial work. I have been working on this project for about 3 weeks. And have not given up. Is great that you are showing our members about this new way to tackle this project !!!!!! Hell with the blow torches, scraper, and solvents !!!!,,,

Default Dry Ice machine rental

You can rent the machine from United Rental. We rent them often to clean industrial machinery. You have to have a really good air compressor and dry air. They rent air dryers also.

Gary Riley at Level One Restoration in Colorado bought one and it is a game changer. Now you want to buy that undercoated car. He even cleans interiors with it like headliners. Supposed to be able to remove the lettering on a M&M without hurting it. Richard Griot of Griot's Garage has one and the bottom side of his wife's car looks new. If I was 20 years younger I would be getting one.
