Known as, “The Maniac”, this amazing Camaro is the ultimate restomod with its striking appearance, modern options and drivetrain. This car has recently been re-restored to a high level in 2021 and it checks off all the boxes. It’s in show quality condition from top to bottom. The straight body and is dressed with a cowl hood, RS headlight covers, Addictive Flow front spoiler and rear spoiler. The body was finished in Standox Midnight Black which is ocean deep and absolutely gorgeous. The paint was recently ceramic coated with Gtechniq Platinum Protection. All of the glass is new and tinted. Everything on the exterior has been replaced new such as the window trim, front bumper, dual mirrors, door handles, quarter trim and rear bumper. Custom exterior features include the aluminum front grill, Detroit Speed electric headlights, lower lights, billet tail light bezels and LED tail lights. The car has a killer stance on Forgeline GZ3 3-piece wheels that have a gray center and polished lip. The front wheels are 18” and the rear wheels are 19”. The wheels are wrapped with new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires that are 275-30-18 on the front and 325-30-19 on the rear. The new rich leather interior has been customized is loaded with all the amenities of a modern vehicle. The custom headliner is swede with a carbon fiber center piece. Custom interior features include a silver Detroit Speed dash cluster, Autometer Phantom II white face gauges, billet knobs, Ididit black tilt steering column, Billet Specialties Boost steering wheel with carbon fiber wrap, Vintage Air conditioning, push button start, power windows, aluminum door vents, front door panels and accessories, bucket seats and rear seat, carpeting, floor mats, center console, aluminum shifter and Pioneer stereo with four Pioneer speakers. The trunk compartment was finished in gray and houses the Optima red top battery with power cut off switch. The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with many upgrades. The smoothed firewall, inner fenders and radiator support was finished in gloss black. The hood is held with aluminum hood hinges. It’s also equipped with aluminum fender braces and clutch reservoir. The car is powered by a GM Performance LS3 V8 that is rated with 525HP. The engine is outfitted Holley Sniper EFI intake, custom air intake, custom Ring Brothers valve covers and custom Billet Specialties pulleys. It’s equipped with a Detroit Speed wiper motor. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine breathes through Lemons ceramic headers and a stainless steel exhaust system with Magna Flow mufflers. The engine is coupled to a Tremec Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. It’s equipped with a new McLeod RXT twin disc clutch. The power is transferred to the pavement through a freshly rebuilt GM 12-bolt POSI rear end 3.73 gears and custom center differential cover. It’s equipped with power steering with a close ratio steering box. The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout with many upgrades. The floors were finished in a satin black paint for durability and sub-frame connectors were added. The rear was mini tubbed to allow for larger wheels and tires. The Ridetech full suspension system consists of tubular upper and lower control arms, sway bar, 4-link rear and adjustable coil overs at all four corners. The braking system consists of a Wilwood master cylinder and Wilwood 14” drilled and slotted rotors with yellow calipers. This vehicle has been recently serviced and detailed including Gtechniq Platinum ceramic coating which is all documented with an invoice that is included. From the MS CLASSIC CARS collection.
