Planning on a prime rib roast done on my smoker and either crab legs or lobster tail to go with it. Not sure on the veggie yet. Probably have a nice bottle of Chimay reserve (blue label) to drink with dinner.

Haven't really thought about it. I do know if it takes more than 20 minutes to prepare, it ain't happening in my home.

We're doing a small progressive dinner with two other couples that are neighbors. Appetizers two doors down and the main course is at our house, short ribs with pappardelle pasta. My wife is a great cook. We head to the other neighbors for dessert and some bourbon.

Should be fun.

In the south we have to have black-eyed peas and some type of greens like collards, turnips of mustard greens
