'64 C20, Super Clean ND Truck
For $2000, I would snap this up if it weren't 1200 miles away. Or, if I were still in my 20s I would just fly out there and drive it back....
Neat truck that was sold new in Tioga, ND and never left. Link to 1964 C-20 auction 4C254J118520 |

Wow, can you imagine finding a truck in that condition in the rust states ?? Crazy clean and straight, not all banged up, like most farm trucks. Later exchange long block engine, but the rest looks original. Interesting hose on the intake. The large one that makes a U back to the intake ???
It's only 613 miles from me, Tony Good thing it isn't a C10, short box. I would be in trouble with the wife.....again...

There is a spacer under the 660 thermo housing that the other hose appears to be clamped to. I've seen those on older buses to supply water to heaters in the passenger compartment, but that certainly wouldn't apply here, UNLESS the intake was swapped at some point too ??

My '67 Corvette lived it's early years within 15 miles of this truck, (may have come from the same dealer) and has minimal surface rust and negligible pot metal pitting. This truck had a certain coolness about it!! Bill W |

I lived in the metro St Paul area for 67 years before moving across the river to WI. I bought a '67 GTO in Minot years ago, that had Colorado plates on it. It seemed too rusty in the few pics of it for those 2 locations but I dragged my trailer all the way up there, the second half of the trip in a friggen blizzard. I was shocked at the extent of the rust to the rest of the vehicle but ended up buying it anyway. The owner kept throwing more stuff in the deal so I wouldn't leave without it. Once I got the PHS, it made sense, as it was delivered to PA and, obviously, lived there for many years. That car was the turning point in my life of being a mechanic and turned me into a panel replacer. I had to buy a mig, plasma cutter, many tools and clamps and a rotisserie. The frame was so rusty, it had been repaired with donor sections in the past and fell apart when I lifted the body off. I drove to Oklahoma for a frame and donor body parts. Yeah, I learned a LOT about restoration on that car...
