Very cool Doug! This information correlates directly with John Weaver's history of the car. Since the rear is original to the car the Sunoco station must have did a gear swap. More than likely the Sunoco station also did the headers and the rear leaf springs.

interesting to hear about Rich Russo of Canonsburg

In my research, I heard about many people who did work for Yenko part time or full time

many of them were either Don's SCCA racing buddies or fellow PA Corvette Club members

Joe C. I think since Patsy work for Don selling cars that was a good inlet for him plus he had a gas station that was less than a mile away that made it convenient the good thing is Rich remembers this for and is dad doing work for Yenko

I spoke to another original owner Yenko car ...and he told me that his original salesman was Patsy Russo.

I was able to stop and see the car this past weekend. Doors and deck lid are hung and test fit. Being original sheet metal they fit like a glove. We also were able to decipher a ton of firewall codes after it was carefully chemical stripped.
