Doesn’t one of the painters at Norwood remember what sheen he painted? I know it’s 53-55 years ago but someone should remember. If it was gloss it was gloss. If it was satin it was probably waxed over the years to appear gloss.

The debate will never end.

Amount of sheen on the rear panel blackout varied, due to many factors. It’s the same paint as the rockers.

At least for 1968 it was “supposed to be” 30 percent gloss. No reason to think 1969 was different.

So when you are restoring your car, all you have to do is find out what the temperature was that day. Or if you can't narrow it that tight, temp. during that week. And Bingo, Bob's your Uncle. And Robert's your Dad's brother... Danny
