Default 1968 Camaro drive shaft???

I posted this CRG and got no response. Anybody seen a Camaro drive shaft with that big circular weight on it? Local guy has it for sale for $50. It's supposed to be for 68 Camaro with turbo 400.

I doubt it is original to the car. Front yokes with that big damper on them were used many times to combat rear end noise. Believe it or not, it helped a lot on some vehicles. Some the the dampers are even larger, almost the size of a front engine damper.

Would not hurt my feelings if someone showed I was wrong. Just never seen one on an original car.
