Default 1970 Chevelle PAIR of disc brake caliper cores LH 5469700 & RH 5469701

Hi Everyone,

I have one pair of disc brake caliper cores available here, recently removed from a running and driving car, detailed photos below.

1970 Chevelle 5469700 & 5469701 calipers.

You want the correct GM parts on your car.

sold as CORES - calipers will need to be rebuilt.

Dates look like B-14 and B-15 - clearly a pair from the factory.

A very original pair that were likely in place on the car since they were assembly line installed, based on the crisp castings and close dates and similar patina, all IMHO.

Getting so much harder to find these.

Especially never rebuilt, likely first-time removed calipers with the factory, assembly line bleeder valve blue caps intact!

Thanks sYc Friends,
Anthony

Hi Jeff, if you mean 1969 Chevelle LH 5463636 & RH 5463637 calipers, all I have available at the moment is this pair, the 636 is dated 225, which is August 13 & the 637 is dated 193, which is July 12:

I also have this single 5463637 available, dated 264, which is September 21:

I could break up the pair of course if you would like the 225 & 264 dates, just let me know.

Close but not perfect, sorry!
Anthony

Anthony, I need 5469700 and 5469701. I forgot that I bought the correct calipers from Dan in Canada in 2016. The part hoarder in me clicked in thinking I needed them, although I already bought them. Thanks. Sorry for the brain fart,

Hi everyone,

I've had a couple more inquiries on these, and one was for the stamped date on the ear of the calipers by the bolt holes... a good question!

Below are before and after photos of the ears and the stamps.

Very clearly stamped with dates that just go further to support that these are likely never before removed or rebuilt units, and certainly never blasted or tumbled.

R is stamped 070 and L is stamped 07072 - looks like a double stamping actually...

Anyway, seems these were assembled just less than a month after being cast, around March 11.

Cheers all,
Anthony
