1969 BU Rear, original posi, 3:73 gears $3500

Nice BU rear with original dated gears, dated posi carrier, and axels. Only have a couple pics right now of when it was media blasted, should have more pics in a couple days. It's being gone thru by the guy who does my rears currently and he says its in very nice shape internally.

Trying to decode the stamp, no luck. Is it for a Chevelle?

What am I missing, I can remember seeing BU codes in the past just don't see it on this list.

Sorry Ryan, I should have clarified. Camaro guys are pretty familiar with BU(3:73), BV(4:10) or BE(copo/yenko) rears. Most Z-28s came with either a BU or BV rears. This rear end actually came from a southern California 69 SS Camaro with a 350 that is being converted into a protouring car.

I'm looking for a B.U. rear end for my September built Z28, but the date on this is a little early. Do you have any others for sale?

Jeff,

This is the only rear I have. Don't see these pop up very often, hell I don't see 12 bolts come up very often any more. I will let you know if I see one, you never know.

Here are some more pics of the rear opened up. It is in the process of having all new brakes, e-brake cables, rebuilt master cylinders, axle bearings, pinion bearings etc. The entire rear will have been gone thru and ready to install.
