1967 Engine vin stamp
Guys,
trying to determine when vin stamps started on 1967 pontiac engines. Motor in question was in a car built the 2nd week of June 67. Everything I find says the vin stamp started in late 1967. Is there a timeframe that is documented as far as when this started. Was it in late 67 for the 68 model year? This motor has no vin stamp. thanks

Re: 1967 Engine vin stamp
A partial vin was stamped on all Pontiac engines beginning with the start of 1968 production in August, 1967.
