Thumbs up "Body By Fisher"

It's a good watch for GM fans of Fisher Body...

Does that link have anything to do with Fisher body? I wasn't about to watch something that appears to have nothing at all car related going by the title and opening screen.

Pretty much still how it is done.

We don't have any inside suppliers doing interior parts, so that is all done by outside suppliers now.

And - body assembly and final assembly now done in the same spot, which is how trucks were done (rather than Fisher shipping the completed body through a hole in the wall to a Chevrolet, BOC or GMAD plant).

And, lastly, the involvement of computers in both design and production, which (of course) makes everything harder.
