1968 dealer showroom license plates. Some blemishes, see photos. Very hard to come by.

My understanding is they were used on dealer showroom cars to advertise the vehicle’s year. There are no markings, heavy gauge steel and obviously “old”. I have seen 67 and 69 plates as well. Appears as if there were only a few color combos (white/blue, blue/white, white/red, red/white).
