1969 Impala convertible
I purchased this 69 Impala convertible in 2004 with documentation, It was built in Delaware and shipped to South Carolina were it spent most of its life. I am the 4th owner. Got in touch with 3rd owner and got the full history. Has the original 69 350 motor, now has 200r4 beefed up trans and 3.55 12bolt posi, rear sway bar, 70 disc brakes. I made a few other changes with donor car parts, some caprice options and converted to floor shift bucket seat car, tilt, am/fm 8-track, hideaway headlights(yes they work)and they have the headlight washers too. As everyone who has ever owned a convertible, this is a blast to drive and that is just what I do, going to hit the road this spring and run down the Mississippi river valley down to Rt. 66 and may even go to the National Impala convention being held in Springfield IL.

Wow... VERY nice. I like the color, the stance, the wheels and tires, and the hidden headlights.

Re: 1969 Impala convertible
Great looking Impala Convertible! And another 8-track owner! Just let me know if you are looking for any specific 8-track artists. I can check my piles

Re: 1969 Impala convertible
That's funny you ask, I have a modern am-fm cd player with remote and usb port mounted/ stashed under passenger side bucket seat. I down load a whole bunch of 69 rock music onto I-pod and let it roll for hours, in the dash is a 1969 uriha heep 8-track. I have other 69 8-tracks (a box full) to but don't change it out much

Re: 1969 Impala convertible
Yes, I have the ipod full of rock too I listen to the 8-tracks for something different (and to hear the clunk ). During cruise nights I sometimes leave the case open for people to reminisce and for kids to ask their parents "what are those"?? One night, a lady saw the KISS 8-track and asked me to put it in. Fired it up and the lady was so happy!
