Default 1969 Camaro deluxe door panel problem

I didn't buy reproduction door panels for the Camaro because I hear they don't fit real good. People have had to use heat guns to change the angle of the top of the door panel. That being said, I sent my originals to Al Knoch to be redone fiquring they came off this car, they should fit....right? Wrong. The problem is the top just like the ABS type except these are the fibre board. Has anybody else had this problem after having them redone? Any help please? Thank you, Joe
