The young guys today have NO idea what they missed out on. Nothing like it since. We spent virtually every Friday and Saturday night on the Blvd cruising. Great times indeed.

Wow!! When I moved out to SoCal in the late 80's I lived in Van Nuys for 17 years. I had always heard of the cruising on Van Nuys Blvd. The cruising had been pretty much stopped by then so I never got to get to experience it in person. I definitely recognize a bunch of stuff. I had gone to Saugus Speedway a number of times. They closed it after the '94 Northridge earthquake. That was a lot of fun to see the races there. I see there's a bunch more videos posted on youtube. I'll have to take some time and go through them. Thanks for posting!
