Rechroming Cragar SS
Anyone here ever had any Cragar SS wheels rechromed? If so, were you satisfied? Would you recommend that chrome plater? Costs involved? Were the wheels separated and rewelded?
Thanks in advance, Dave

I think this subject has been brought up before. I remember something about the chrome they use now is more of a yellow chrome compared to a white chrome used when they were new. Don't quote me on that, but something to do with the color of the plating.

^ Yes it is the EPA cracking down on the use of hexavalent chromium compounds which give a brighter 'white' chrome, alternative plating compounds don't provide the same appearance.
