Default Damn, Christine McVie

Shocked to learn of her passing today. Saw FM a few times and she was a main force behind the sound..
One of MANY reports on her.

We only saw her once with Fleetwood Mac in Austin back in 2012. It was a great show. What a loss.

You sure about the year, Tim. She did appear in some concerts in 2013 but officially re-joined the band in 2014 ??

We had the honor of seeing them in their first concert together in 15 years at the Target Center in MPLS. It was her first appearance on a stage in all those years and she started out a little nervous and rusty, but by the third song, she was as good as ever and carried right thru the entire concert. It was like being transport back in time to the '70's and when Stevie sang Rhiannon, the place went wild.

Just heard of the news moments ago. What a loss. Such a beautiful voice, beautiful woman and she seemed very down to earth. She could sure write some fantastic lyrics.

So sorry to hear this. She always seemed to be in the background behind Stevie, but I thought she had more impact on the group and carried herself with more grace and charm. Beautiful talented lady.

It was probably 2014, Mitch. I save all our tickets from back before everything was scanned on a phone app. I'll have to check the year.

Ha, I hear ya. We still print ours out at home. Us old farts need to keep the traditions alive...
