Very sad indeed....and Charlie was the laid back and quiet one.

Saw the Rolling Stones numerous times.....always one of the Best Shows!

RIP.

I was eating dinner with a "blind date" with another couple at Taylor Street Bistro in Chicago in the early 2000's. All of a sudden Mick Jagger and his entourage walked in and sat at the table next to us. I was told later that Charlie Watts was one of the other "older" guys with the group. I believe they had just performed at Soldiers Field that afternoon/evening.

TOO Bad... Great time keeper. They once set up a metronome to test his timing, it was perfect!. ... Danny

One of the greatest drummers in the rock era. I always thought of him as the one who held the Rolling Stones together. May he rest in peace.

How blind was the "Blind Date?"

I assume you were more mesmerized by the Rolling Stones than your date? I would have been

Just think...if you would have had kids with her....you very first boy would have been named Charlie, Keith, Ronnie or Mick Hanke

Cool Story.
