That's very nice of you to say, Mark. Thank you! It's the only way to be in my book.

All the small pieces are ready to go back together! Each one blasted and officially, there's no more white house paint anywhere! And no, the tri-castle nuts aren't in the pic

Although Steve's goal on this is Day 2, so I'd assume maybe some neon green suspension paint, a red rear axle, and yellow wheel wells!

Cheers
Dave

PS: 101 today.....

And don't forget the white headers and yellow traction bars!

I never did understand the logic behind white headers.....how many sets do you suppose ever finished installation with no greasy hand prints all over them?

Alllllllrighty. Paint Part Deux was a complete success. But, to continue on with the new moniker of the Cursed Cuda, about halfway through the third coat of clear my compressor overheated leaving me without any air. At 100 again today, it was just bound to happen. But like all car guys who have spare carburetors, distributors, and engines laying around, so to was a second compressor! That allowed me to finish the clear but not without some peel due to it being a smaller tank. Not anything major, just not as flat as I'd have liked it to be. Nothing the cut and buff won't fix!

Very happy this time around and now she'll harden up as we're off to SCR23 Wednesday! When I get back out comes the wetsanding disks, buffing compound, and then it'll be time do some reassembly and packing for the next phase: Restorations by SuperSteve!

Cheers
Dave

Oh, now come on, Lee. Let's be serious. That one in the center is way too small, looks lazy, and doubt he could hold the buffer steady!

Thanks Tony!

Cheers
