Default 427king find of the month

Barn find for sure. My son bought this from a local farmer last week for 40.00 who had this in his barn since the 70s. Was used in one of his trucks way back in the day. It is a 3904351 1967 427 cu in HI PERF block with a date code of Oct 31 1966 ,halloween day and perfect for a farmer thats sold pumpkins for decades. It has no apparent issuies of any kind other than being surface rusty and a bit greasy, its just as it was found. No sleeves or blow ups
Incredibly it was an over the counter type block and has NO STAMPING EVER ON PAD ......It will be ebayed once I get over the amazement of having a block that was a mile from me since i was in grade school. Correct for 67 Impala and 67 corvette .

Great fine, I'd love to see a picture of the "virgin" pad to see what it looks like.

"HI PERF" housing core is common to both high and low horsepower applications

T1106 Oct 31 1966 casting Nov 6 1966 stamping Tonowanda. All the virgin pad motors 67 down had this stamping on the starter boss , first type early CE , OTC, etc.
