Default 69 Z/28 Power Brake Hose Support Bracket?

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if this power brake hose support is an original part. It came to me with a bunch of other original pieces. All the ones I have seen are stamped "aac". This one is simply stamped with a "P". Has anyone seen a P stamped one before?

Thanks,

Jason

I have seen the"p" ones only in the service nos brake boosters assemblies. The black Bendix boosters kits especially. It's real just not assembly line stuff. Imho never seen just a p on a original car.

Thanks for the replies.

Dvss1,

Just so I’m clear, are you saying this bracket came in GM service/accessory power brake kits and as far as you know the “P” stamped ones are post production?

Thanks again,

Jason

What's the length on it? They made a shorter one for earlier Corvette.

Sorry for the delay in reply. The bracket measure right at 3 3/4 inches from the top to the right angle bend.

Thanks,

Jason

I haven't located my bracket yet, but here's an image I saved from a recent eBay ad (sorry, can't find notes on who to credit it to) which matches the above measurement and confirms PM'd recollection that the difference in length was about 3/4".

Interesting. In that case, what year Corvettes is this applicable to?

Thanks guys,

Jason
