Default Big block Chevy oil pan ID.

Does anybody have an idea as to what the application of this oil pan may be. Looks similar to 65-69 big car but without the indentations on each side. Thanks

IMO It looks like a 72-75 Chevy/GMC truck pan for 2 wheel drive 1/2 & 3/4 ton:

It looks like a 65 -67 Impala pan with the two stepped drop, it also has the earlier Large nut oil pan plug. But it could be an earlier truck pan. Does it have a welded baffle in the inside?Don.

Don, The ones I saw advertised seem to lump 1965 through 1969 together. 65-67 are different than 68 and 69? They also had indentations on each side which led me to believe this wasn't for the "big cars". Thanks

I believe '68 & '69 were identical except for the Smaller 9/16" nut used for the drain plug, that is why I said '65-'67 B bodies usage. I need to see the welded in windage tray also to confirm. I also noticed the hole for the front oil pan seal nipple that was peculiar to the '65-'67 BBC pans. Don.
