Default Let's talk shifter handles and knobs

Please school me on shifter handles and knobs. I'm sure others will benefit.

Take this handle I acquired for example. Was this a factory hurst T handle?

Which are the most sought after and how can we tell the difference between genuine and repops factory/aftermarket?

Are there Day2 knobs/handles that are extra special?

I'm ready to learn.

Thanks!
Jose

Not noted in Lee’s comparison pic of handles, but the “4” in the Repop is a giveaway.

Here is one I bought from Rich (Enoch) about a year ago. Thought it looked cool. Don't know much about it, I just thought it looked cool. Fit perfect on my Hurst Comp Plus from Crash

This is like playing that childhood game where you spot the differences. I didn't even notice the 1 until you mentioned it.

Thanks!

Great, Informative thread here!
What about those black & gold fuzzy flocked T-Handles?
Has anyone tried one of those black velvety flocking hobby kits- like for making jewelry box drawers etc? I've thought about doing that on a used T-Handle and see how it turns out.
