Wow! Black/red is special. POP + Grenning sign off. This one should break records. Love that pad too...

----One of the 69's I looked at before buying my Riverside Gold 435hp was at a dealership in Columbus. Black on black 435hp L-89 convert. The salesman took me into the service area to look at it and the drivers side head and intake were both off. The tech told me it dropped a valve seat, but that it didn't hurt the piston or cylinder and they were making it right. I had heard of a few claims of that happening and decided to pass. found mine at Ed Stines (SP) a week later.....Bill S

----As an addition to this, I forgot one other thing that turned me off the car. It was optioned with a hard top, but the dealer decided (for some unknown reason) to add a paisly (sp) vinyl cover to the hard top. Really ugly!

Original buyer was out of Tampa, Florida. How many Chevy dealers were there in December 1967? The original BoS is not present.

Ah, misunderstood, again, about what you are looking for. I should just go sit in my corner now.

Paul likely has more but here’s a few Tampa area dealers in operation 67/68;
Chevrolet Center Inc. - Auburndale/Winter Haven
Larry Dimmitt Chevrolet Inc. - Clearwater
Ray Durdin Chevrolet - Lakeland
Ferman Motor Car Co. - Tampa
Murphy Chevrolet - Bartow
Les Paul Chevrolet - Ft. Meade
Jim Quinlin Chevrolet Co. - Clearwater
Ross Chevrolet - St. Petersburg
Boe Wood Chevrolet Co. - Tampa

VIN 194678S404485
Surely someone’s tried for an NCRS report and tank sheet?

~ Pete
