Default Keystoners

I found a nice older set of Keystone Wheels at a swap meet over the winter. Got them for a great price and recently polished them up. I mounted a set of cheap radials and off I go... I have more fun with this 71 Ventura. Just a 307 2 barrel single exhaust 100 percent original car. Car runs fantastic. You don't see Keystones too much. Thought it was a little different. The hood is deliberately popped up. Just connected the battery and backed it out of the garage for the picture. I'm a tire and wheel guy. I have more sets of them than I know what to do with. My Wife thinks I'm nuts.... I just like changing them around it changes the appearance of the car so much. Then it's funny to mess with people at the local cruise inns who say they saw a car "just like this last week but it had Pontiac Rally Wheels on it". LOL

I hear ya on “wheels set the tone”... steel wheels and dog dish caps sure changed the appearance of mine, IMHO.

The second car I owned was a 73 Ventura. Used to be popular up here in the '70s and '80s. You don't see many of them anymore as most were driven into the ground.

Had to look for this one so I could scan it. A 69 convert that I had back in the late 80s to early 90s. My brother sitting inside was freezing his but off as I had pulled it out in May and it snowed that day. These were the only set of Keystones I ever had.

Default First car

I had Keystones on my first car, a 67 Camaro. 15x4 skinnies in front and 15x8 reverse in the rear. Pretty wheels!

Great looking wheels- I've always liked them, but never owned a set.
Are the new ones close to originals or easy to tell apart?
Just curious if anybody has eyeballed them side by side.

Good looking Ventura. I’m currently on the hunt (passively) for a set of Kustomags 14x6 to replicate this image of the car in its youth. And no I’m not in the photo. Those are my brother and sister in the fall of 68. Sister was born in June of 68

I think this is #135045, wearing the type of Keystones it was campaigned with and found with a while back.
