What could be one of the best meteor showers of 2020 is happening this weekend. NASA reports the Geminid meteor shower occurs between Dec. 4 to Dec. 17 every year, with the best nights for viewing on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14.

NASA reports that the peak will happen the night of Dec. 13 into the morning of Dec. 14. Those in the Northern Hemisphere should have a good view all night, with the peak around 2 a.m. Sunday. Observers can expect to see close to 60 meteors per hour, according to NASA.

Note the "DO NOT INFLATE" on the inside of the wheel.

The article lists this as the P51A but I am thinking this is the earlier A36 Apache. Anyone else know for sure?
Rick - I'm thinking this may have been a Mustang I or Mustang II based on the British Roundels. From what I've read, there was only one A-36 built for the British and I do not see provisions for the dive brakes on the aircraft in the photo to indicate this was "the one". Would like to learn more about these photos.

Looks like you are right. According to this link they are possibly the P51 Mk 1A based on the 4 wing mounted cannons and no provisions for armament or drop tanks which the Mustang II had. I had forgotten that the A36 had air brakes which these clearly do not in the previous photos.
