Default 69 BB Nova TO and vin stamp

re; 1969 Nova BBC cars from Willow Run. It was my belief that all 69's from Willow Run had the vin string on the top pad. Were there any down by the oil filter ?

I don't know the full answer, but my 06A L78 has the VIN on the top pad.

Don't think any BB Nova's ever had a filter area stamp, I've never seen one, always on the pad

Thanks guys, just what I thought, just helping a friend sort out a # matching car. It was said to have the stamp down below when ask about it not being on the pad. He passed on the car.

Post VIN stamp...

I have never seen a VIN stamp on a 68-70 BB Nova in any location but the front deck area
