Oddly, still nothing on the news this morning about fires. They briefly mentioned the shooting in Southern CA, then went on to other news. I don't do facebook or any other social media but my wife did get in touch with family. Cousins that live in Paradise got out fine and are staying with her Aunt in Chico.

I've have a few friends that were told to evacuate. They've been able to get back to their places and things are ok. Luckily they had some brush clearing done and the fire halted at the brush line, 100-300 yards away. If you're put in the position of having to get out, it's one of those times where you have to decide in an instant what to take and what to leave. One of my friends had stored all of his pictures in a small rolling suitcase so he can grab and go. When the winds kick up again we'll see what happens. I hope nothing. Everybody stay safe.

In Mark's neighborhood...8 houses around his were lost to the fire. He's safe and his house is safe. He's helping the fire department put out spot fires....

Crazy how a fire gets seemingly selective. So many variables. Probably shows just how hard the firefighters work to try to save the houses.
I heard they are bringing in many apparatus from surrounding states. Hope they catch a break with the winds.

Default Really bad fire in Norcal

My Oldest Son saw a post showing 3 Firefighters pushing a 1968 Shelby GT-350 out of a garage 2 minutes before the garage went up in Flames. They Must have been Car Guys!
(nobody was at the Home when they arrived)
