Default 1969 Camaro Jack

Just a curiosity question.
I saw the VE3 load rest in a pic in the parts for sale section, and it was all blue. I've never had a definitive answer to what color it should be. I have heard, all blue; and gray for the body, with blue for the riveted on piece. (with the rivet unpainted like they took a finished standard load rest, and riveted the blue piece to it)

Does anyone know for sure how the originals were painted?
