Cowl Induction hood
Hey everyone. I am having to repaint my 1968 Camaro. I am wanting to install a cowl induction hood. Does anybody know of any good companies to buy one. I am wanting the stock 2" steel cowl. Year one, etc?
Any help is greatly apreciated. Thanks

Re: Cowl Induction hood
Trying to help Dave out here -
Anyone have any experience with the +/- $900 "made from original GM tooling" repro cowl hoods being sold? They are supposedly made in USA vs. the $200 China repro ones. Gotta be a reason for the big difference in prices - just seeing what other's experiences have been. Back when we restored these cars in the late 80's we were buying GM replacement sheetmetal pretty cheap - haven't had to buy sheetmetal in a while so we are new to this repro thing since the GM stuff has gotten so expensive. Thanks Jake |
