Default Yenko.Net & MCACN Calendar

Greeting Folks!

As was started in another thread, the idea was posted to have a MCACN calendar made up for us to enjoy. I thought it would be a cool idea to also feature cars from this site that members have shown at MCACN over the past few years. Proceeds from the sales of the calendars would be split between Steve and the Yenko.net site to fund site improvements and name tag distribution at the show, and Bob & Vicki to help offset any after hours parties that I may be invited to.

I’ve met with management of both venues, deliberated behind closed doors for the last few weeks, and the results are promising. Approval has been granted from said establishments to proceed with the project. The idea is to have the calendar ready by October and for sale through this site and of course, at MCACN. Depending on photo availability, I’d really like to have it done by June so I can peddle it at car shows that Bob attends since he won’t have much to bring to these small shows anyway. Places like Carlisle, Mopar Nats, SCR, etc. You know, those small shows!

So what about you? If I make the calendar would you pony up and buy one? How much would you expect to pay for a calendar of magnanimous proportions not comparable to anything that has ever been calendared before? Where exactly did the saying “pony up” come from anyway?

Price would depend on how many I make plus some added in to help Steve and Bob out. So here’s the poll and let me know what you think!!!!!

Thanks guys!!!!

Cheers

Super Dave

How about giving portion of proceeds to a deserving charity?

I’d do one. Ive done them in the past for my site. It’s a lot of work, by the time you buy envelopes to ship, you don’t make a lot. Put it in your pocket for all the work you’ve done.

You know that I'm going to want one. Did you get all of the pictures that you needed? Any hints as to what cars are going to make the cut?

How about a Grady Burch Calendar? I think he's got enough iron for every month !
