Default '74 Z28 air cleaner

A friend has a '74 Z28 that is missing the original air cleaner. He said that he would like to find one to put back on it. Anybody have one? This is for a driver.

I believe this is the correct one for a 74 z28. I likely also have the correct lid for it but will have to look.

What distributor is your friends '74 Z running? There were 2 different air cleaners depending on whether or not it was running points or HEI? The HEI had a bigger "dent recess" for clearance. The one that Jason posted is for points.

He said it originally had points, but the original owner put in a HEI. He wants to leave the HEI in it.

So, I found the pictures I had of the difference in the dent/recess between a non-HEI and HEI air cleaner for the '74 Z28s. I don't remember who I got them from, but I'm pretty sure it was a Nasty Z28 member. Credits go to him.

I'm wondering if I may have misidentified what Jason has.

Jason, do you mind posting a head-on picture of the dent/recess in the air cleaner you have?

Here's the pictures I have.

HEI

non-HEI

Heres the base. There are 2 spots where someone hammered it for clearance on the bottom side. Doesnt really affect the operation of it. You can see remnants of the old sticker.
There is a small dent in one of the snorkels.
