I miss him too, but I always knew eventually he was going to have to get some sleep.....

Hope all is well with him.

I doubt he's been sleeping with moving.
We moved 2 years ago, after accumulating for 19 years at the previous house, and what a nightmare.
The next time I move, it's going to be 6 ft down.
C'mon Dave, take 5 and give a shout.

Yeah, I'm sure he's been busy moving 'n stuff. Last I heard he finished the Beemer 507 while it was being transported and had it sold before it was unloaded. Then he located and recovered Thomas Poulters Snow Cruiser from an iceberg off the coast of Antarctica and is halfway though it's restoration. I think he's planning on doing a cross country trek with it. He's also trying to locate the remains of the aircraft the snow cruiser carried on its back. You know, the usual Super Dave stuff.

Me here!! Sorry gang, and yeah, what Mark said! OK well, sorta. But he's halfway true in that in addition to two bathrooms being remodeled, I transformed my wife's barn from an oversized chicken coop to another Anheuser Busch style stables, poured two concrete pads with one being an extension on my shop (meaning, paint booth!) and on top of that, redid the whole shop which will be painted Wednesday! The kitchen is the last thing.

There's been a void in my life of no cars and no Yenko.net for months and I'm not happy about that. Matter of fact the other day during my welcome aboard speech I blurted out "Welcome aboard ladies and gentlemen. I have some information about your flight today that is like to pass along to you. But first, did you know that Grady likes Porsches? Did you recently see that Mikey's head exploded since he tried to actually fit more Chevelle and Camaro knowledge in there? These things and more can only be found on Yenko.net."

But seriously, thanks for the thoughts and concerns, my friends. But fear not! Most all the major stuff will be done in the next month and I can resume making no sense to anyone again!

I'll start a thread shortly with some before and after photos. I think you guys will enjoy them. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll realize SuperDave's back!

Cheers
Dave

Glad you came up for air to make a post...

About this Snow Cruiser...I'd never heard of it. As soon as I saw it was equipt with BALD tires, I knew it had to be a major boondoggle...

Boondoggle, doesn't that usually require govt to be involved? Asking for a friend.

Yes, and they were to the tune of about $150,000....in 1937 dollars.
