Default '70 Trans Am #s RAIII/4-spd, One Family Owned

This car looks exceptionally nice...114,000 miles in the same family.

Getting tough to find cars of this caliber that have been so well preserved, and passed down in the family. I can't imagine how the current seller (son of original owner) could let this one go, but I don't know the circumstances....

If the car never had rust or repairs why does it have replacement fender on both side.

At least the core support is correct.

----It says no rust on the body. That could mean that there was rust on the fenders but none on the body,,,maybe? Of course that's stretching the truth a bit!......Bill S

I know nothing about these cars other than they are cool so please educate me. What would I look for regarding the differences between an assembly line fender and a replacement fender on these cars? Maybe it is similar to 70 Chevelle fenders in how they changed.

I read the add and was also under the impression that there was no, nor has there ever been any rust repair or body damage nor ever been in an accident.

The 1970 to 1972 fender did not have holes in the middle and top for the front impact bar.

The passenger side is even later because it has a clip and adjustment hole for the hood hinge.

First time I have ever seen round clutch pedal pads installed onto a car like this.
