Grand National Roadster Show - 2016

Just a quick post to say this year's show was great....as usual!! Didn't see who won the AMBR award but this would have been my pick...........

The drab olive green car won. 32 with a small block and black convertible top. I didn't think it was anything special. Looked like an average deuce roadster.

Yes that's the one. I mean it is a nice car, but I don't think its the AMBR. The peddle cars were slick.

Built by Rick Dore for James Hetfield of Metallica 34 Packard is nice.

Take nothing away from the Rick Dore creation; that's an undeniable, incredible piece of art, ....... but the Deuce roadster is screaming to fly down the road.

Agree -- "Art" cars are NOT street rods but rather something that is totally a carpet car ... TAZ [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/headbang.gif[/img]
